How can I describe Dr. Fintel? He is just a distinctive cardiologist gifted with great expertise. He is devoted to his patients; his thoroughness and attention to details make him unique. He displays a holistic approach; he is a caring specialist, very humble and gets excited with his patients for positive outcomes. I was very ill when I went to see him; today, I am a new person. I am forever grateful to Dr. Fintel and for his highest level of care. I hope NM Hospital recognizes and appreciates his multiple gifts.

I think he is a great doctor but I do not know if I will return because expecting someone to wait more than 90 minutes for a scheduled appointment time is terrible customer service. I was courteous to show up early and was not met with the same respect for my schedule.

Dr Fintel is not only a good clinician but he understands the importance of really listening. I never feel rushed or dismissed like I do with other physicians. He makes sure to go that extra step and understands the importance of directly looking at me and not just the computer. He's old school and young physicians could learn from him!

He reviews my chart with me, asks questions, and provides explanations for my questions about lab work and medicines. There's never a rush or any sign that he needs to get on to the next patient though I know he probably has that pressure. In short, it's like a visit with an old and dear friend.
