I have known Dr. Hanauer was the best for years. This summer I went to Mayo Clinic and the gastro doctor there told me I had the best gastro doctor in the world. Dr. Hanauer has a reputation for being the best in his field; for his mastery of it. He is an accomplished person. I was surprised, if not shocked, that I would be able to benefit from his services as a Medicare recipient. I couldn't believe it, not because I am not worthy or undeserving. Simply because it's not been the norm that I am familiar with. Elated that I have a shot at living with greater dignity.

I could write a book on Dr. Hanauer's care. I've been his patient for over 10 years. I had a colonoscopy last Monday. I was so anxious and nervous. He was able to make me laugh and calmed me down.
