The MyNM Patient Portal is a secure patient portal for Northwestern Medicine. With MyNM Patient Portal, you can manage your health records and communicate with your physician's office using your computer, smartphone or tablet. There is no cost to use the MyNM Patient Portal, and you can sign up online.

Check Your Insurance Coverage

Northwestern Medicine accepts a wide variety of insurance plans in commercial, government and exchange arenas. If you do not have insurance or need financial assistance, we can help.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first visits will involve registration and meeting with your care team and doctor.

Registration: Remember to bring a valid photo ID and your insurance card. One of our Patient Service Representatives will help you:

• Check in
• Validate parking ticket
• Sign consent forms
• Review your insurance

Meeting with your doctor and care team: Your doctor and care team will review your medical history and perform a physical exam. Further testing may be scheduled by your care team if necessary. Your doctor and care team will discuss next steps with you and your family.
