Von Hippel-Lindau Disease

Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease is a hereditary condition characterized by tumors that can occur in one or more areas of the body. These tumors can be benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Individuals who have VHL may experience tumors and cysts in the brain, spine, eyes, kidneys, pancreas, adrenal glands, inner ears, reproductive tract, liver and lungs.
