Flu Symptoms

If you have some or all of the following flu symptoms, even if you do not have a fever, you should monitor your symptoms and learn when to seek care.

  • Fever of 100 degrees F or higher
  • Headache
  • Extreme tiredness
  • Dry cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Muscle aches
  • Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea (more common in children than adults)

Sometimes people who get the flu need medical treatment. If you are concerned about your health, contact your physician or seek medical attention.
