Treatment of Interstitial Lung Abnormalities

Care is focused on:

• Ongoing monitoring with imaging and lung function tests
• Reducing risk factors, through interventions including smoking cessation and limiting causative inhaled exposures
• Early intervention if progression to interstitial lung disease is identified

Patients whose ILAs progress may be evaluated for:

• Advanced therapies
• Participation in clinical trials
