From the initial office visit, through the day of surgery meetings with me and my daughter and husband, he patiently shared info and answered every question we had. He never gave me just a quick overview of a much used answer, he made sure he understood what i was asking and why. It was obvious to me he loves what he does and wants to provide exceptional care. He called me twice after surgery and again...I felt like he really cared about my response and he patiently both asked me questions and answered mine. When in person he looks directly at you, and i felt like he was focused and engaged with me while we were together. Honestly, i feel like i could not have gotten better care from anyone else.

Dr. Kay was very thorough in going over my history and in explaining things to me. He showed me how to manually check my thyroid myself and showed me the images on the ultrasound. He truly wanted me to understand my situation and allowed me to make the decision on what to do next. He spoke to me in a professional and detailed manner, respecting my ability to understand, which I appreciated.

Loved Dr Kay! He explains all aspects of our concern in great detail. Made sure we understood and answered all our questions and concerns. He showed me how to examine my thyroid and feel for my nodule to see if it grows and when to be concerned. I would recommend Dr Kay to everyone and believe he is an excellent Doctor!
