5.0 star star star star starDr Sares was very well informative about the procedure and what was about to take place. She kept me smiling and calmer even though I was very nervous. Doctor Sares did the procedure with amazing care and was gentle. After my procedure and I was in a lot of pain, she asked me if I had eaten anything today. I told her no. She told me to relax a bit, and she sent a nurse to bring me a water bottle, and when doctor returned, she had brought me a few snacks to eat. She is extremely thoughtful and kind. I wanted to hug her for making me feel better and happier. I wish more doctors were like her. We'd all be better for it.

5.0 star star star star starI normally dread going to drs and therefore avoid/postpone it. She is kind and non-judgemental but also very thorough while being efficient and practical. Also great sense of humor really puts you at ease.

5.0 star star star star starMy PA-C, Taylor Sares, is so knowledgeable, friendly & efficient. And, she really listens. I had seen 2 Drs at IBJI who didn't listen to what I was telling them, rushed me thru, & then gave me incorrect diagnosis & incorrect treatment of weight bearing PT for my subchondral fracture, which could have permanently damaged my leg. On the other hand, Ms Sares gave me a correct diagnosis for my subchondral fracture, & said I have to AVOID weight bearing PT for it. I am so glad I went to NW Orthopedics, so that Ms Sares could stop me from permanently damaging my leg! Additionally, Ms Sares presented the option of gel shot as treatment for my knee, and also was honest about a knee replacement possibly in my future, which she also conveyed in a kind thoughtful way (vs the general negative manner at IBJI). Thank you Ms Sares for your professionalism in treating my recent knee & leg issues!

5.0 star star star star starTaylor Sares is the best. So enthusiastic and genuine and helpful and thorough. She said things about following up and monitoring my progress that she didn't have to say and most people just pass you on to the next doc, PT and move on. I feel like she could be a senior leader at a corporation - attitude is everything. Thank you, Taylor!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
