Dr. Rosenow met with me before going in for the procedure. He explained in detail, once again, the extent of my surgery. I was nervous and he, Dr. Rosenow, inspired me tranquility. The team was exceptionally accommodating.

Dr. Rosenow seems like a very knowledgeable and personable guy, but I'm pretty sure he or his staff forgot about us for a while. The wait after being called back for my appointment to actually meeting Dr. Rosenow was about an hour. Very long wait time for an appointment that lasted a half hour at maximum.

Doctor Rosenow answered all of my questions while making me feel more comfortable about the very anxiety provoking topic of brain surgery. Great Doctor and great person. I would definitely recommend Doctor Rosenow. One thing that stuck out was that Doctor Rosenow is involved in a group of Doctors attempting to bring light to the possibility that DBS may be an appropriate option for certain psychiatric disorders such as insomnia and OCD. Thank you Doctor Rosenow for the quality care it is greatly appreciated.

He was very compassionate, easy to talk to, and understanding. It was also very clear he is very knowledgeable in his area. He spent time talking to me about different options and why or why not they make sense in my case. He also was open-minded about non-traditional options based on my preferences and what would work in my life.

Dr. Rosenow did an outstanding fusion 17 years ago. It is still in excellent condition. I saw him today for a different and unrelated problem to fusion. My problem is really in other related specialties. But he and his staff spent a large amount of time with me. Dr. Rosenow is a compassionate individual truely concerned with the welfare of the patient. He is a key reason I go to, and recommend, Northwestern. Thank you Dr. Rosenow.

Dr. Rosenow and his associate Dr. Farnandis were extremely nice. They patiently explained the procedure allowing us to make informed decisions. I am happy with all the specialists that I met at NW Neurology department in the past 5 years

I wish every doctor was like Dr Rosenow. He is kind, caring and genuine. You know that he genuinely cares about you when you’re with him. He never makes me feel rushed, answers all of my questions, I never feel silly for asking a question, and he is the only doctor I will let operate on my back ever. He is absolutely amazing.

Dr. Rosenow is very knowledgeable of the neurological procedures. He works well with patients by explaining each surgical process in great detail, so that each patient understands exactly what the situation involves. He also not only goes through the benefits of the surgery, but also explains the risks that a patient might incur.

Dr. Rosenow and his Dr. Assistant were thorough, empathetic, and answered all of my questions. He gave me specifics about the best surgery options for my condition: Trigeminal Neurolgia due to Multiple Sclerosis.

I wish I could clone Dr Rosenow!!! He is patient, funny, easy to talk to, never makes me feel rushed and makes sure I leave with no question I answered. He is without a doubt one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen.

He said that he might be able to do a procedure that no one else would do. Also, the doctor and his assistant waited for me to get there. I was running late to my appointment because of traffic. I was so happy that the doctor afforded me this opportunity. I was extremely GREATFUL! This is me was going above the call in order to take care of me!

Dr. Rosenow. He was INCREDIBLE. I’ve seen countless surgeons over the years and NONE compares to Dr. Rosenow. He is friendly, kind and clearly cares dearly about his patients. He took all the time we needed to go over my case and answer questions. He was thorough and genuine.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
