5.0 star star star star starI was really impressed by Dr. Verges's interest and commitment to providing quality care. I thought she would just pickup from where Dr. Capezio left off. Not the case. She took so much time understanding how my RA diagnosis began and the treatments since then. She scheduled blood tests and X-rays and talked about possible next steps, So while I was sorry to no longer have Dr. Capezio as my Rheumatologist, I am totally reassured that I will continue to have the highest possible level of care. Dr. Verges is fabulous!!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Verges is the best. She is always prepared for my visit and she responds in a very timely manner when I submit a question through the portal. She had shoulder surgery and couldn't use the laptop, so she had hand-written notes for my visit. She is my favorite doctor because she is very caring, organized and efficient.

5.0 star star star star starDr Verges is very thorough, and never makes you feel like she is rushing you, even when the office is having a very busy day. She also listens and is very helpful when talking with me about the choices, I have with medications, different types of procedures, or in what direction to go forward. She is very knowledgeable. Some of my doctors have moved away and a few have retired. Dr Verges has been helpful in guiding me in the right direction to select some new specialists.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
