5.0 star star star star starDr. Garry takes time to know me as a person and patient. I usually have a list of questions and Dr. Garry gives me clear informed answers. Dr. Garry has my best interests at heart and listens to my preferences for treatment and the reasons behind them. After my blood test he sends me his comments in a very timely manner. He took excellent care of my husband, a patient with lots of challenges. Dr. Garry is a geriatrician who has studied the elderly and has a vast experiential knowledge of our vulnerabilities, mind-sets, our age-related medical issues and the consequences of our actions (or inactions) that may lie ahead for us.

5.0 star star star star starDr Garry is brilliant, prepares in advance for every meeting, responds promptly to my every request, directs my health program with excellent perspective and sincere caring. I have never worked with a doctor who I respect so much based upon the work he has done with me. Dr. Garry's staff is qualified, personable and responsive. My phone calls are answered by a registered nurse who moves every request with very capable hands. All issues presented to this office are carefully evaluated and responses are given quickly!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
