We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care we received from Emily S. Jungheim, MD. . From the very first visit, they made us feel like family, taking the time to understand our concerns and making us feel genuinely supported. Every step of the way, Dr. Jungheim. Patiently educated us, explaining everything clearly and answering all our questions. It was so reassuring to have a doctor who cared deeply about keeping us informed and ensuring we felt comfortable with each decision What truly stood out was their dedication to sharing positive news personally. When there were good updates, Dr. Jungheim didn't just leave it to their team; they made a point to reach out, celebrating those moments with us. This level of personal connection made all the difference. We are incredibly thankful for their compassion, expertise, and genuine kindness. A big thank you to her nurse, Phoebe, for always being there and quickly responding to all my inquiries. You are absolutely wonderful, kind and incredibly friendly!

Dr. Jungheim is an angel. She was incredibly kind, reassuring, patient, and informative in our most recent meeting. While I was struggling emotionally, she said everything I didn't know I needed to hear and made me feel so much more comfortable with my situation. She is a magnificent doctor and person. Thank you.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
