He is committed to creating the best possible care plans. To do that, he uses advanced technology and an approach that fits the patient and their goals. Dr. Hayes’ day-to-day work is grounded in empathy and unwavering dedication to those in his care. Dr. Hayes thinks of himself as a teacher of medicine for his patients as well as resident physicians and medical students. He works closely with colleagues across the spectrum of cancer care. This includes surgeons, medical oncologists and primary care physicians.

Dr. Hayes was wonderful ... I loved his calming manner and we conversed. He didn't lecture or try to persuade me to any one or combo treatment plans. He listened intently... great eye contact ... in other words he met me at my level, if that makes more sense.

He's always around checking on the comfort of his patients and his calm demeanor makes me feel calmer during treatment. And he's always assures me that if I have any discomfort bc of the radiation, to speak up bc he's got lots of things to keep us all comfortable. Just love him to death bc he's so reassuring!

My experience of Dr. Hayes is that he is knowledgeable and skilled in his area of expertise. He clearly explained the radiation process, often using easy-to-understand analogies. My questions were always entertained and explained the side effects. Finally, he did not pressure for a commitment and encouraged reflection before accepting treatment.
