5.0 star star star star starShe was recommended to me by another doctor at your facility. I was coming from a long term relationship with another specialist and was weary of what was to come. She made me feel very safe and comfortable in her care and I count myself incredibly lucky to have them both as part of my care team. Dr. [ ] is my current nephrologist that recommended Dr. Blanco. Both have made my transition incredibly easy, comfortable and stress free.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Blanco is an outstanding provider. She has a wonderful bedside manner, completes a detailed and thorough assessment, listens carefully to her patients, asks appropriate questions, and is always receptive to listening to any questions or concerns I might have for her. She also never acts rushed or makes me feel limited in my time for her. Finally, she is an excellent clinician as evidenced by her diagnostic skills. I would follow her to anywhere.

5.0 star star star star starAgain, only my first meeting. I was very impressed with Dr Blanco. She was compassionate, well read on my particularly rare issue, explained things in a manner I could understand, didn’t make me feel stupid or that she was annoyed for asking questions. Overall a very solid start! She’s incredibly knowledgeable!

5.0 star star star star starHad an excellent visit. The doctor made me feel comfortable speaking with her. She seemed to be genuinely interested and caring. She provided insight on my medication that I was not aware of, after taking the medication over 20 years.

5.0 star star star star starShe was so personable and listened to every word I said. I felt like the only patient she had for the day because she treated me with such respect and didn’t rush at all. And everything was still so timely.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
