5.0 star star star star starMy husband and I had a Telehealth appointment with Dr. Mercury and were very impressed by his caring and knowledge of what my husband is experiencing. Dr. Mercury didn't just ask questions of my husband, but he actually asked for my input, which made both my husband and I feel "heard". We ended the meeting both feeling that we found the right person to team with my husband's neurologist, Dr. He.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mercury is very patient and has a wonderfully caring manner. Although I sometimes had to ask him to repeat what he had just said so I could take notes, he never objected or made me feel rushed. His assessment of me is accurate and will be very helpful as we look ahead to plans for my future care at Northwestern Medicine.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mercury was highly thorough. He asked insightful questions and listened thoughtfully to my answers. He also went the extra mile to explain procedures and whatt the reasoning was behind the questions he was asking.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
