5.0 star star star star starIt was such a pleasure to meet Courtney. She is very congenial and started with an excellent review of my records. She was engaging and definitely made me feel that she was interested in my health and wanted to make sure I understood how my medication works. She gave me additional information on diet changes I can make and made sure I had a new prescription. I felt very well cared for after my visit. Courtney also ordered a few labs and she was very prompt in reviewing the findings and sending me a note. I appreciated that very much.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI was pleased with the amount of time Courtney spent with me going over my history and answering my questions. She seems knowledgeable in the field of bone health and is personable and communicative. Since this was my first visit with Courtney, I will experience more as I continue with her care. I hope that she will find Northwestern to be a good place to practice, so my care can continue.

5.0 star star star star starCourtney provided me with information about my current status, asked me questions about my daily activities, exercises & diet to plan for future care options. She ordered blood work to base decisions on the most recent numbers, and did not prescribe meds immediately.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
