5.0 star star star star starDr. Sala is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I struggled with lung issues for close to a year and got almost instant relief. He diagnosed me quickly and knew exactly what I needed for relief. Very professional, listens and give you the time needed.

5.0 star star star star starFor approximately 7 to 8 years I have been trying to get an internal med doctor to help me figure out why I couldn't stop coughing. I didn't always have a cold or the flu, but could not control this lingering cough. Well, at last my savior, Dr. Sala has come. He examined my x-rays and CT scans and has diagnosed what has been happening i9nside of my lungs and I want to thank him and Northwestern Medicine's hospital organization.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Sala is detail-oriented but also doesn't lose sight of the big picture. I've been to a dozen pulms throughout my life and he's the first one that makes me feel like he has a firm grasp of what's happening in my body. He is also well-versed in new advancements and I feel comfortable talking with him about various aspects of my healthcare. He collaborates with other MDs as necessary. He just makes me feel well taken care of.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Sala is professional, courteous and informative. I was able to receive more than enough information on what might be happening with me and why and was able to get tests done to confirm. I've been getting treated overall and I finally feel like I have answers to things that have been bothering me.

5.0 star star star star starDr.Sala was very kind, informative and extremely helpful in helping me understand healthcare as a whole and as individual parts. I have a better idea of what I should be looking at and how to ask for help with those things. It was very refreshing to be met with kindness and compassion and empathy and I appreciate Dr. Sala immensely.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
