Dr. Sala is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I struggled with lung issues for close to a year and got almost instant relief. He diagnosed me quickly and knew exactly what I needed for relief. Very professional, listens and give you the time needed.

For approximately 7 to 8 years I have been trying to get an internal med doctor to help me figure out why I couldn't stop coughing. I didn't always have a cold or the flu, but could not control this lingering cough. Well, at last my savior, Dr. Sala has come. He examined my x-rays and CT scans and has diagnosed what has been happening i9nside of my lungs and I want to thank him and Northwestern Medicine's hospital organization.

Dr. Sala is detail-oriented but also doesn't lose sight of the big picture. I've been to a dozen pulms throughout my life and he's the first one that makes me feel like he has a firm grasp of what's happening in my body. He is also well-versed in new advancements and I feel comfortable talking with him about various aspects of my healthcare. He collaborates with other MDs as necessary. He just makes me feel well taken care of.

Dr. Sala is professional, courteous and informative. I was able to receive more than enough information on what might be happening with me and why and was able to get tests done to confirm.
