5.0 star star star star starWe have seen Dr Nielsen for years. She is always very thorough, and genuinely seems concerned for our girls. She is very informative. Our girls really like her and we feel well cared for. I know that in 1-2 months she will send a message asking how things are going if we required medication or a referral to someone. She is amazing.

5.0 star star star star starShe's incredible. Honest, straightforward, and efficient, but so kind and thorough at the same time. She takes things seriously without instilling any fear or pressure, and I truly feel like I can ask "what do you suggest?", and actually feel like I can trust her answer to be honest and medically sound, without feeling like there's any type of outside pressure. She's also so kind and patient with all of my children when they need to attend their siblings' appointments. She cares about us, as a family, and that's a rare find these days.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Neilsen has been [Patient's Name] doctor since he was born. She is wonderful! She is open to our ideas, listens to her patients and their parents and is always up on the latest medicine. She called after the appointment to follow up on an item rather than just sending a my chart message. We appreciate her immensely!

5.0 star star star star starCares about her patients. Very thorough and takes time to answer all questions and address all concerns. My child is usually very apprehensive about going to the doctor, but Dr. Nielsen's kind and gentle manner along with building rapport with her patients makes my child feel at ease and actually enjoy coming in for checkups.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
