5.0 star star star star starDr. Lung is an excellent, active listener, who patiently and clearly answered my questions and assuaged my fears during each visit. He called in response to a mychart question, asked questions, acted on my answers and thoughtfully explained why, and always exhibited professionalism, compassion, and an interest in my quality of life. (I was in the process of giving the same scores for Dr. [last name], but the survey expired.)

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lung is a wonderful doctor and his attention to detail is so much appreciated. I'm always impressed that he is concerned with your overall health and not just what specifically treated you for. He takes the time to personally review scans and other test results and then takes the time to explain everything in detail. He listens and patiently answers every question. Amazing doctor! I wish there were more like him.

5.0 star star star star star1st time meeting Dr. Lung. He was kind, compassionate, respectful, took his time explaining his interpretation of the tests he had reviewed prior to my visit. Discussed treatment options, lung preservation, timeline for treatment. Really enjoyed meeting him and hopeful to work with him in the future.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lung was extremely knowledgeable and made every effort to inform us of the situation as quickly as possible while taking the best possible steps for the patient's health. In addition, because he can speak Cantonese at a very high level, our family was able to sidestep the general language barrier, which further heightened our experience with Dr. Lung. Finally, Dr. Lung demonstrated excellent skills in performing the operations, for which we greatly appreciate.

5.0 star star star star starHe and his staff spent adequate time answering my questions as best they could, given the fact that the behavior of the suspect nodule is puzzling. Consequently he prescribed another scan in 3 months in my new local which he offered to read at NMH.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
