5.0 star star star star starDr. Kochman is a wonderful Doctor. She is extremely bright, an accurate listener, an effective communicator, and the kind of meticulous and conscientious (applied) scientist required by the art of medicine and its cornerstone: diagnosis (especially by an Internist). She is also more than capable of the 2nd unique challenge of a Primary Care doctor: prescribing specialties when relevant, tests when informative, treatments and Rx when promising, and organizing (and even coordinating) such multidimensional varieties for/with an individual patient. One can tell right away that Dr. Kochman is not only highly educated and well-trained but also innately intelligent; exceptionally articulate in all manner of expression; a genuine pleasure and, most importantly, talented in all the ways a doctor can be. I feel very fortunate to be her patient (as I'm sure her other patients do too). And I would strongly recommend Dr. Kochman, even if it meant that new patients would make her even busier and more popular than she already is, making me wait even longer for worthwhile appointments.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kochman was so warm, empathetic, and inviting. This was my first visit with her, and I'm very happy I decided to establish care with her. My visit with her made my less than satisfactory experience with her medical assistant, Latoya, worth it.

5.0 star star star star starThis was a first visit after having to leave a doctor I'd been seeing for 20 years and really liked so I was anxious. Dr. Kochman was knowledgeable, thoughtful and personable. She spent a lot of time, answered my questions, explained things clearly and seemed interested in helping me improve my health. She was extremely responsive after the visit. I had all my blood work back that evening with comments and suggestions and responded to my MyChart messages within hours. A very good first meeting.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
