5.0 star star star star starShe explained the results of my test. I have had the pulmonary test many times before and she is the only doctor that took time to explain the results to me. She seemed very interested in my health care.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ottoman always exemplifies excellent doctor patient bedside manners, she knows what she is doing and generates kindness besides astute knowledge for your care management. I have encountered numerous pulmonary doctors and Dr. Ottoman is a wonderful besides knowledgeable physician, who cares about her patients. When You tell her Thank you, She smiles and say's I'm just doing my job. Which is absolutely commendable to me.

5.0 star star star star starShe takes the time to explain what she’s recommending and explained my condition in terms I understand. Dr Otteman also makes me feel she will continue to try different treatments until I’m better.

5.0 star star star star starShe took the time to listen. I left another practice recently after being there over 20 plus years because the doctors can't spend time with their patients, it's not good for business. Health care is about the patients not the bottom line.

5.0 star star star star starI have worked for several pulmonologists through the years, and Dr. Otteman is by far, the best when treating her patients. She is knowledgeable, caring and very through with her patients. She understands how scary a breathing or lung problem can be, and is very reassuring to her patients.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr. Otteman ordered a prescription of ANORO ELLIPTA for me but did not tell me that it was very expensive. When I called CVS to confirm sending the order the said my cost was $650. I canceled the order immediately. I can't try a medicine that may or may not help my lungs function at that cost. If she would have told me the cost I would not have agreed to try it.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
