I started treating with Dr. George six (6) years or so ago and chose him to go along with me on my cancer journey because he came highly recommended. I have always traveled quite a distance to see him in St, Charles at the Delnor Cancer Center and now make an even longer trip to see him in Oakbrook. He is worth the travel distance. Listens to me, we talk about options and decide together what our next step will be. This kind of care is, unfortunately, not the norm. I have found in another doctor's office I occasionally frequent (not Northwestern), that it is in, out and goodbye as quickly as is possible. Northwestern care is never like that.
