5.0 star star star star starDr Zakarija's mannerisms put me at ease, listened and answered my questions and she took the time to explain the testing that she ordered. Additionally, Dr Zakarija informed me of the next possible treatment that would be prescribed based on the results of the tests she was ordering. Dr Zakarija even asked me if I had any questions at the conclusion of my visit which is the first time in several years that any Doctor at NWM has asked me this question.

5.0 star star star star starShe was just wonderful! Took so much time to face me (not the computer!) and answer my 10,000 questions. She also helped make connections about what I might need to consider vs what I don’t have to worry about. She was very caring, a “real†person, and still clearly an exceptional clinician.

5.0 star star star star starWe were very desperate took it in due to our son possibly not being able to go off to college. We wrote a personal note and the doctor responded and understood our plight and was more than accommodating and gracious

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zakarija was very professional and thorough. She took her time to read my results to discuss with me the next best steps when concerning my health issues. She made sure she knew all medications I was currently taken. I explained to her all of the side effects. She offered to reach out to my other two doctors at NW as well as my primary doctor in Indiana to make sure they are aware what's going on with me to determined what should be done to resolve my health issues. I appreciate her for doing that. It shows that she wants and knows that everybody involved in my care team should be aware and work together to do what's best for me. Good job Dr. Zakarija!!

5.0 star star star star starSorry to be redundant, but:I have seen Dr. Zakarija for almost a decade now, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She listens, she's compassionate, understanding, and best of all, SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S TALKING ABOUT.She has done nothing but help and support me through me struggles and injuries, and had only ever had my best interests in mind.Very highly recommended: 11/10.

5.0 star star star star starBeen with about six different doctors over the years, all left for GRANTS!Guess they were just filling time waiting for the Grant to materialize.I pray a VERY-GOOD Doctor like Anaadriana Zakarija will not be getting any GRANTS soon!I do apologize for the selfishness on my part.

5.0 star star star star starAs this was my first visit with D. Zakarija, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleased with her easy-going approach. I never felt anxious during our exchange of information, and she spent what I believe was an appropriate amount of time questioning me about my medical history.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zakarija helped me understand my blood better. I know this is a blanket statement, but she was able to explain how my blood works and reacts. Dr. Zakarija was patient with my anxiety and made sure I understood everything we discussed. I believe Dr. Zakarija treated me as an individual and not just another patient.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
