5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganshirt was very caring and easy to talk with. I valued having a surgeon with so much experience, and appreciated how he connected his own experiences as a musician with my profession as a music teacher.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganshirt was recommended to me by another doctor, and I have friends who have had him as their surgeon and they had nothing but positive things to say about him. He is very professional, and has a very human side, too...He is kind and compassionate and put me completely at ease.

5.0 star star star star starCompetent, easy to talk to, respectful of the questions I asked with a full response given to each one. And I was somewhat surprised to have him call personally several times during the process to inform me of results and care decisions. The main goal of any surgery is good results, but having a surgeon with the communication style of Dr. Ganshirt eased the stress of the process significantly for me.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganshirt is extremely professional, taking the time to listen and explain everything clearly. My experience was excellent, and I'm completely satisfied with both him and his support team. His work has also been highly praised by my other doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Ganshirt to anyone seeking a skilled and compassionate surgeon.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
