He is very knowledgeable and explains things very well. I did not have any concerns with my surgery because he made me feel comfortable and he informed me of everything that will happen.

He has a good way with a patient that makes me feel comfortable able to ask questions or say (what) and he will explain it more clearly if needed. I am still recovering. I see him tomorrow and we could even hope everything is going well down by exercises and I don’t like staying on pain pills.

I met with 3 different doctors to get opinions on the best treatment. Dr.Lawton was my 3rd and last opinion. I chose him because of his amazing bed side manner and knowledge. He took as much time as I needed to explain everything and pulled up pictures to help explain things. He made me feel so comfortable and I knew that he really cared about me as a patient. You can tell that Dr. Lawton really loves what he does and has a passion for helping people. He goes over and beyond. This is not just a job for him. I am so thankful to have found such an amazing doctor who truly cares about his patients and helping them live better lives.

Dr. Lawton has surgical privileges if he had them with my preferred hospital I would have much rather gone there. He’s a good doc but he’s with ortho Illinois not northwestern. Just saying.
