5.0 star star star star starAs soon as Dr. Oren-Amit walked into the exam room, I felt a good sense of calm and confidence that she could help figure out why I was still not getting better. We talked and she listened to my thoughts and concerns.

5.0 star star star star starMy regular doctor, [name], was not available for a post hospital follow-up visit. I saw Dr. Oren-Amit in her place. She addressed my concerns, answered my questions, had a wonderful bedside manner in the office setting....as if she'd known me as a patient previously.

5.0 star star star star starAs mentioned above, she took considerable time in reviewing and understanding my medical history as well as next steps I will be taking with TOS surgery. She was both analytical and caring in offering alternate viewpoints_all explained in laymen's terms. Plus high level of energy and connection with me as a patient and a person.

5.0 star star star star starShe had not had contact with me before, but she demonstrated a full understanding of all of the pressures that my stoke involves and how to help me in every way. I am informed that she will not be available for an appointment six months from now, and I really wish that she could be available when that time would come.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Oren-Amit is the most knowledgeable doctor I have. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions until I understood. I always had a lot of questions when I saw her. At my age, I went through a few doctors, and I will definitely say that I'm very lucky to have her as my doctor. I hope that she will be in the office forever.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
