At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Considering the life threatening seriousness of my illness I was very pleased to find a doctor who took all the time necessary to discuss my case, gave me very clear information and left me feeling very positive about my outcome.
Dr. Chandra is absolutely terrific. Having been diagnosed with metastatic melanoma stage 4, she was the Dr. who was entrusted with trying to save my life. She was honest in discussing the immunotherapy treatments and I placed my life in her hands - "win or lose" the battle. Last week, after 8 treatments (4 dual and 4 single drug - IPI and NOVI) as well as 2 sets of CT and MRI scans, she walked into the office and said: "Your scans were great!" "No sign of tumors or nodules!" While my reactions to the treatments included extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, etc. it was all worth it. I can't say enough of Dr. Chandra, her nurse practitioner and her whole team.
Both Dr Chandra and staff blew us way with their courtesy and care for explaining and answering numerous questions and concerns. Truly unbelievable experience for my family to feel so cared for during my illness from the doctor and nurses.
Dr. Chandra,is an excellent physician. she ensures you understand, and has a true desire to help improving the patient's health and quality of life. She is thoughtful and respectful at the highest levels of care
Dr. Chandra is the reason I go to Northwestern for my melanoma health care. She is knowledgeable, a good listener, explains options clearly, and never seems rushed to get to the next appointment. In short, she makes me feel cared for.
