5.0 star star star star starMs. Brown took care of getting me an emergency paracentasis that I’d been needing desperately. I was very stressed, physically and mentally and she guided me through the entire process of blood tests, scheduling it herself! and the procedure. I was so ill I had trouble figuring everything out and she was incredibly kind, patient and intelligent. She went above and beyond in her patient care and I was very impressed!

5.0 star star star star starAndrea Brown, APRN gave me exceptional care during my first visit. She was very reassuring while discussing my test results. She listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions without hesitation. She is a everything I prayed for (nobody goes to Hepatology without serious health concerns). She explained everything in detail and gave me a plan to follow. I HIGHLY recommend her.

5.0 star star star star starShe took her time to explain things and still asked if we had any questions. She was so sweet and patient and really empathized with my situation. Thank you for that. She did not seem to be in a rush to get me out and on with the next. She also called me the next day to check on me and give me an update on my blood work. So sweet.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
