5.0 star star star star starDoctor Erickson was a professional with a capital P. Amazing job on trying to figure out what was the problem, took her time, made sure to check different possibilities, made it very easy for me to follow during the process, and also made sure that I was able to ask anything I had in mind. She provided me with more than enough resources and next steps, was super thorough and careful on not leaving something out. Long story short, see is an amazing doctor, and also seems like an amazing person. I don't know who is reading these and if they are being read, but if someone on the higher ranks is reading this, know that you have a hell of a doctor and person in Dr. Erickson, and make sure to account for that in whatever way is needed to be accounted for. If someone else is reading it, I would appreciate if you make sure that someone on the higher ranks reads this. And last but not least of course, everyone that I interacted with were beyond great, so thank you for building a great team of people. Enjoy the holiday holiday, safe travels, and thank you again!

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Erickson was great. She looked at my hand pretty thoroughly trying to figure out what might be causing the pain, and came up with some ideas and a timeframe for how long I could expect the pain to linger.

5.0 star star star star starI came in with a really bad cough in addition to the eye problem I made the appointment for, and Dr. Erickson prescribed a cough suppressant for me in addition to eye drops. She was 100% right to do so, and I started feeling better that night. My eye is also looking a lot better. Having two separate things wrong with me was very distressing, and both Dr. Erickson and the staff were kind, answered my questions, and I left feeling much more settled than I came in. Very grateful to have had such a helpful visit. Thank you all!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Erickson explained her thought process and how she reached her conclusion very clearly. Then she gave me a clear series of steps to take if my symptoms went one way or another. And of course, I felt very comfortable talking to her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
