5.0 star star star star starDr Rakocevic really listened and took my issues seriously. She was skilled at making me comfortable during our interaction. I liked it better than my interactions with previous psychiatrists at Northwestern. Those were fine, but felt somewhat distant and distracted and perfunctory.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rakocevic is always willing to change things last minute. Because the bus I take wasn't running, she was more than happy to switch to telehealth last minute. I love working with her, I look forward to her friendly demeanor and smile every week.

5.0 star star star star starThere are not enough praises in the universe to describe Dr. Rakocevic. I have never once regretted choosing her from the extensive list of female psychiatrists at NW. She truly cares for her clients, takes great pride on listening to their needs, and takes time to figure out a plan for care before implementing.

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe seems to be quite competent and I’m looking forward to seeing if she will be able to help me. As it was my first appointment with her, it’s hard to give a recommendation at this time.

5.0 star star star star starOpen dialogue, approachable and really understood the core issues I am trying to fix. Provided a medication plan and offered up a team between herself and therapy. I appreciated her honesty and knowledge surrounding anxiety / depression.

5.0 star star star star starI can only speak of my doctor, Daniela B. Rakocevic. I like her approach and she approaches my treatment as an individual. Keeping my reservations of using medications in mind and with respect to my wishes.

5.0 star star star star starDr Rakocevic is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever seen, in my 20 years of receiving psychiatric care. She is kind and validating (traits that far too many psychiatrists are missing, unfortunately), and truly listens. She is an incredibly intelligent doctor who knows her stuff! I feel incredibly blessed to have found her and I feel more hopeful in general as well. She is clearly a trauma-informed doctor, which is so important in the field of mental health (especially when working with survivors of gender-based violence, like myself)... it's too bad that isn't an industry standard. I feel that I receive the very best possible care with her. Thank you, Dr Rakocevic!!!

5.0 star star star star starShe is extremely caring and compassionate. She really puts her patient first, and really listens to them for better care. Rather than just saying what she wants to do, if the patient wants some other care, if it's doable She does what the patient feels is best.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
