1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI sat in exam room for 45 minutes waiting for the Dr. No one advised me that Dr. was runnning late. No real aploigy was given from Dr. Dr. talked down to me and let me know she did not want to address my question.

5.0 star star star star starSimply put--she us the BEST you have at NW. Having seen many Doctors, Dr. Menichella is one of the most knowledgeable, intelligent, and caring experience a patient could ask. She has been a hero to me and helped me more than others.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Menichella is easily one of the BEST Doctors you have at Northwestern. Every single thing about her intelligence, her professionalism, her kindnesses, and her complete interest in you as a patient is above most all other Physicians. She is the MOST thorough Doctor we have met which in turn has made her the MOST accurate and the MOST helpful.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderToday at my visit with Dr. Menichella, when I explained my symptoms, Dr Menichella told me that because of the amount a diagnoses I have, that she could not help me and that I need to see a psychologist. These diagnoses have all come specialist doctors, Dr Menichella is implying that these specialist doctors have given me false diagnosis or that she does not believe what they have diagnosed me with. Multiple diagnoses show my journey to try to find the reason for my poor health, not a mental illness. Dr Menichella should receive training on how to handle patients with rare illness who may not be lucky enough to immediately receive the correct diagnoses. Most importantly she should want to help treat these patients or admit she is not able to.

5.0 star star star star starIt was my first appointment. She listened; she evaluated; she asked questions; she explained; and she arranged for me to be promptly seen on the Diagnostic floor so I didn't have to make another trip to NW. I am feeling more confident; more hopeful; and better ready to accept treatment options, even if it means some trial and error.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
