Sixteen years ago I researched doctors for my cancer and actively sought the help of Dr. Winter. To this day it was the best decision I could have ever made and continue to be lucky to have her manage my ongoing care. She's a leading authority in her field, her confidence, competence and determination to always do right by my care puts me at ease.

I really enjoy seeing Dr. Winter. She thoroughly explains how the cancer is affecting my body and outlines the forms of treatment I will undergo. So does this with compassion and concern for my well being.

Dr Winter is an OUTSTANDING physician. She is so kind and caring. She always greets me with a smile and a handshake. She is easy to talk to and she listens, which is really important to me. I never feel rushed. I am completely at ease. Cancer is a very scary disease but I couldn't ask for a better physical to ease my fears. In addition, each time I see her there is a physician (fellow in her department) who sees me prior to my contact with her. The physician is as caring and professional as Dr Winter. He is very thorough in his exam, I could not ask for a better Care Team than the one I have in Hematology/Oncology!!
