5.0 star star star star starDr Winter is always helpful and caring. Also, she can explain how the entire NMH system works. She runs a well-organized practice and appears to be well-versed in any new healthcare practice in oncology. She is not afraid to say she is unfamiliar with something in another area but is willing to refer you to someone who does. Her reputation is well-recognized as evidenced by the research studies and speaking engagements that she has undertaken.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very caring and took the time to explain things and really send like she wanted to get to the bottom of what is going on. Her teaching style with the younger doctor was also very professional and you could tell she wants him to succeed.

5.0 star star star star starDr Winters gave me the chance of a second life by not giving up on me. She became family over the course of time. My family is forever grateful, as she was with us every step of the way. She defy-is more like a mother figure with a professional touch .

5.0 star star star star starDr. Winter, Elizabeth Hamilton, and in this last visit, Tara spent time questioning me on how I am feeling and doing. And in this time of covid instruct me on how to care best for myself. It is comforting to be treated by people who clearly prepare themselves by going over my records before seeing me. I often find myself relating my experience to friends and colleagues.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI know she sees a lot of patients but it seemed as if she hardly knew anything about my case until she began looking at the charts. She was unsure of my primary oncologist’s name and referred to her incorrectly. She also had information incorrect

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
