5.0 star star star star starDr Stein has been my endocrinologist for over 10 years, including the time he worked at Advocate. He is so encouraging. He helped me get my A1C as a diabetic down to 4.4. I also see him for secondary adrenal insufficiency and he has been very helpful managing that as well. He is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stein has been nothing short of amazing. First and foremost, he understands diabetes and is able to provide valuable insight and recommendations every time I have asked. He listens to my questions and concerns fully before giving any answer or making suggestions, and he asks clarifying questions to ensure he fully understands the situation. He is also extremely friendly and professional. I have previously recommended him to others who needed to visit endocrinology and would do so again with no hesitation.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stein is single handedly the best provider of health care I have ever interacted with. He goes above and beyond to connect with me on a personal level, as well as exploring a wide variety of options when looking at my hormonal care. I wish he was a Primary Care physician :)

5.0 star star star star starVery caring, intelligent, and respectful. He delivers excellent personalized care. I was pleasantly surprised when he remembered a side effect from a specific drug I experienced years ago. Maybe the best physician I've ever been treated by.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
