5.0 star star star star starDr. Dhara Patel has a gift for telling me what i should do in a way that makes me want to get better. For example when I first meet her she asked how many cokes i drank on a daily basis. After i told her she pleasantly said to me to try to get down to one a day. She said it in an encouraging way. When she asked about exercise she gave me a goal that seemed reasonable. I'm don't know how to put in in words properly, i want to get better and want to follow her advice.

5.0 star star star star starShe is a kind and compassionate doctor who listens and doesn't rush through any part of the visit. She thinks outside of the box and goes above and beyond to ensure the patient feels actually cared for, which is very rare in this medical climate currently in the USA.

5.0 star star star star starIt is very rare that I am thrilled with a doctor. Dr. Patel was warm, never did I feel rushed. She treated me with respect acknowledge my concerns. She didn't force anything on me or even try instead. Treated me like the adult that I am. I am so happy to have found her.

5.0 star star star star star1. I like that she wore a mask and reached out to shake my hand. 2. For some reason I was able to speak honestly with her about how I was feeling. I could see in her eyes how genuinely concerned about how I was. She asked me questions that helped to create a mutual discussion of my health. She offered me a question that caused me to think and that helped me to make a positive decision of change in my life. Thank you very much Dhara.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
