5.0 star star star star starDr. Arbetter, simply put, is a true star, and an outstanding example of the finest physician care, offered by a great industry-leading hospital system. Dr. Arbetter is unfailingly attentive, conscientious, a careful listener, who always offers a patient, inspiring, perfect sense of urgency and follow through. Dr. Arbetter is unfailingly always on top of things. Importantly, Dr. Arbetter's fine staff is a great reflection of his excellence: intelligent, responsive, and friendly. My career experience, universally has been that great leaders always seem to have the best colleagues and associates. Everyone in Dr. Arbetter's professional orbit projects an extension of his professional persona. Over the course of my fifty year association with Northwestern Medicine, of the fifty to seventy-five physicians I may have experienced in many specialties, Dr. Arbetter is at the very pinnacle. A closing note is that my patient association with Mass. General hospital in Boston was absolutely extraordinary, as has been some family and friend patient experience at the Mayo clinic. Dr. Arbetter is very prominently in this elite group.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
