At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Though I saw Dr. Lindquist for only part of this visit, she clearly had listened to the info that the fellow who collected my history had shared with her. She listens, she smiles, she is approachable. And clearly, she is smart!
A gerontology fellow started my visit ahead of Dr. Lindquist. However, I felt she listened to everything I said. And, when I started sharing about my losses over the past couple of months, and last 7 years, she allowed me to talk and cry, as the tears did come. I was amazed that she gave me to time to ‘tell my story' and grieve my recent loss. I received the orders that I needed, with one yet to come as EPIC caused snags in allowing the provider to create the order! I was pleased to hear about the department as led by Dr. Lindquist. Since she is only in the clinic on Wednesday, I will have access to other MDs in the department, especially one that comes to my senior building on the North side. I am glad to be established with fine providers as I indeed enter my ‘gero' years!
I met Dr. Lindquist when I was a patient at a rehab facility after hip replacement. I found her to be very smart, nonjudgmental, and extremely easy talk to. I chose her to be my doctor the first time I saw her especially when I found out she was from Northwestern--all my doctors are there. I have recommended her to one of my friends (who is kind of \doctor shy\") and I think she will like her very much."
