Dr. Simon is hands down one of the best physicians I have ever seen. And I'm a nurse having worked with many! She was thorough, compassionate, but straight forward with what her concerns about my care were and what I needed to be doing as the patient. However she relayed the information in a way that helped me to understand without being scared or overwhelmed. I felt not only more knowledgeable about my pregnancy but also empowered to manage my pregnancy and health concerns. I feel I am in the best hands under Dr. Simon's care.

Dr. Simon was great! I went into my appointment very nervous as we were checking baby's growth and she had been measuring small. Dr. Simon walked in with a huge smile on her face with the best news I could ever hope for during the Christmas season!

Dr. Simon was a great doctor and I'll miss her. She was knowledgeable, understanding, friendly, and thorough. She really listened to my concerns and did her best to comfort me when I received my diagnosis for gestational diabetes. In the past, not many doctors seemed to care but Dr. Simon did and I appreciate that.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
