5.0 star star star star starDr DeLapp is top notch!! I can't say enough wonderful things about him!! He went above and beyond to make sure the bronchoscopy would be safe. Also reached out to anesthesia to make sure that they felt comfortable with my tricky airway to safely do the bronchoscopy. Dr [ ] (anesthesiologist) was so prepared and comforting.

5.0 star star star star starHe seems knowledgeable, thoughtful, listens carefully and asks appropriate questions to learn as well as possible what my needs and experiences are. He made me feel like i was his sole focus, and that his concern was treating me as effectively as he possibly can.

5.0 star star star star starI like his personality he makes you feel at comfortable. He lets you know just what he’s going to try next if The first thing doesn’t work he doesn’t just give up and say well. We’ve tried everything that’s that. He’ll give me three other things I can try.

5.0 star star star star starHe listens. He’s considerate, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and listens patiently when you have questions and answers in a thorough easy to understand way. He does not rush through to just throw an answer at you, but it’s very thoughtful and what he feels will best work for your situation.

5.0 star star star star starI loved Dr. DeLapp. As a senior I find a lot of being unseen, talked down to as if I am dumb and have meds pushed on me. He was very respectful, explained my medical status and options and results for me to make my best decision. I loved his approach for my treatment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
