5.0 star star star star starI appreciate the efforts of Dr. Eimer to check me out, but I am expecting to get more details about my condition in an upcoming appointment in June. Scheduling appointments with Dr. Eimer are sometimes challenging.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Eimer is very thorough and answers all questions without making a patient feel rushed. He is the first doctor I've ever had that accompanied me to get a follow up appointment and procedure. Dr. Eimer is a great listener and extremely knowledgeable. I'd give him the highest rating possible.

5.0 star star star star starI was a new patient. He came in already familiar with my previous records at another institution. Exam was careful, and he clearly described his plan for my care and follow up and explained the reasoning for tests ordered. He answered my questions thoroughly.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Eimer is a good listener and always happy to answer questions. He is thorough but doesn't order up a bunch of tests unless truly warranted. I always come away from my regular visits feeling reassured about my cardiac health, despite a strong family history of heart disease. I appreciate that Dr. Eimer walks me to the receptionist after a visit to make sure my next appointment gets scheduled. It is such a caring gesture.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
