5.0 star star star star starDr. Choi is very nice, and his hands were tied in treating my husband because Pathology was slow as molasses. I feel confident that he knows what he is doing with this rare diagnosis of Merkel Cell Carcinoma.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Choi was very kind and personable. He also took time to answer all of my questions. I did not mind going into depth when asked to explain procedures and treatments. He involved me and decisions while providing his recommendations to ensure the best care. He also marked tests/procedures that I need as priority so that I was able to schedule them when needed. He really seemed to have the patient's best interest as a priority. I'm also appreciative of how he coordinates care/consults with other providers for the patient.

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Choi is the best. I am alive due to his skills and the relationship he has built with me. I owe him my life and will forever be grateful to him. He has great skills but also a compassionate heart. Thank you so much. Nurse Megan is also a star behind the scenes. She is a miracle worker and very responsive with great follow through.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
