5.0 star star star star starI don't think I've ever had a doctor that went into such detail about my current and historic test results and explained everything in layman's terms. She helped me feel extremely comfortable with her diagnosis and plan of action

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nezirova is the best. I can tell how much she cares about helping me. She actually is conscientious, kind, thorough, intelligent and explains everything to me so I completely understand what is going on and the course of treatment she feels will be best suited for me. She goes above and beyond for me. She actually reached out to my Lupus doctor to consult with her about me which none of my other doctors ever have AND she went back in my medical records to investigate how my current condition has been progressing over many many years to bring me to the point that I am at today. She is really very unique and I'm ecstatic to have her as my doctor.

5.0 star star star star starBecause Dr. Nezirova really cares that I can't breathe and she's very sensitive to keeping me alive. She actually consulted with my Lupus doctor. None of my other doctors ever contacted my Lupus doctor. So I was very impressed. Plus she researched my records going all the way back to 2011 in the Palos Hospital records & found that I've had this elevated diaphragm condition developing for years & now it's extremely serious because it went untreated by my old doctors and now she is sending me to Dr. Wolf/Dr. Franz at Northwestern downtown. In my opinion Dr. Nezirova goes above & beyond even now she's pregnant & still very involved in trying to heal my declining lung/diaphragm issues.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
