5.0 star star star star starShe treated me like I was an old friend. She listens well. You can tell she really cares about her patients. She really knows her stuff. I think she is very smart and I feel very lucky to have her ss my doctor. I am 89 years old and have seen many doctors during my lifetime and she ranks right up there as one of the best.

5.0 star star star star starDr Wen is great. She really cares for her patients. I told Dr Wen during my first visit with her that she is my very first female Dr I have ever had. Dr Wen told me that she will take very good care of me and she has. Dr Wen has made sure that I have had tests done when I have given new info on family history. She really listens to what I say and makes sure that when I have tests done she made sure that everyone knows that I can't stand in place w/o rocking, and that I can ask for chair to sit while having a test done or have pillows put under legs for tests that require me to lay on my back.

5.0 star star star star starDr Wen is by far the most impressive primary care physician I have encountered in my 81 years. She listens to my concerns about losing my ability to maintain mobility as I age, and she suggests things I can do to preserve my independence - physical therapy to strengthen my ability to climb stairs, in addition to revisiting the use of a cpap for improved sleep, a nutrtionist for losing weight, etc. I feel like Dr Wen has my best interests at heart in helping me navigate the process of aging. Instead of offering more pills she suggests solutions for how to improve my life. I am also highly impressed with her Assistant Nick. He too listens carefully, echoes back what he thinks I said, and shows compassion and understanding. I have complete trust in the medical care I am receiving, and would highly recommend them to anyone I met who is seeking medical care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
