5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganger has been my hepatologist for over a decade. He is so knowledgeable about how to treat my rare liver disease, [specified]. He is patient, kind, listens, and always gives the best advice and effective treatment plan.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ganger saved my life. I was a complex case but he never gave up. He did research, he worked with his team and eventually was able to have a diagnosis and I'm in remission. I've been in remission for over 20 plus years. I brag about him ALL the time.

5.0 star star star star starEveryone deserves to be treated in the manner Dr. Ganger treats his patients. People who are struggling with health issues should leave their office visits knowing that they have been cared for.

5.0 star star star star starOver the past 14 years, Dr. Ganger has always been an excellent and compassionate physician. I know that without him, I would not be alive today. He and his staff relentlessly pursued the search for a liver for me, and found one when just about all hope was lost. The care that followed has also been wonderful. I feel healthy, and the good doctor reminds me at each visit that this liver has no expiration date as long as I take care of it. I can never thank enough the fantastic team at the clinic for taking such good care of me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
