5.0 star star star star starEven it’s only our first meeting, he seems to be very nice and polite. I could feel that he have concerns on his patient, wanting to make sure before giving any indication or advice and not scare the patient.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ganger has expertly managed and stabilized my liver disease over the past year. I was previously told I would need a transplant and Dr Ganger’s medication management and changes made all the difference in my life. He also has been extremely careful to order imaging studies to monitor my liver for cancer and other complications. I shudder to think what would happen to me without him.

5.0 star star star star starI have great confidence in Dr Ganger. He’s very thorough and I have never felt rushed with him. He has helped get my symptoms under better control whereas a previous Dr didn’t seem to want to explain much or even help

5.0 star star star star starHe is kind, caring, and responds to my online questions very quickly. During visits he takes time to ask how I’m doing, not only with my disease, but also with everything in my life. He also keeps up on the current research aspect of my disease which shows how much he cares about his patients.

He advised me on what to do about my condition. It is usually detected in patients the first year post transplant. He lessened one of my anti rejection Ion drugs. I need it .so hopefully it will not interfere with theejj no take. chemotherapy if and when I need it.Dr. Ganger is very gentle, and he explains how your liver is doing. I like having him as hepattolgist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganger went beyond his rotating hospital doctor requirements to teach my daughter (my caretaker) how to support the many hospital challenges of my liver disease. She appreciate the education and requested that Dr. Ganger be my hospital doctor during my many hospital admittances over the eight years prior to the transplant. After the transplant when Dr. [ ] was not available to be the post-transplant doctor, Dr. Ganger was asked to be the post-transplant doctor, a role he has played for most of the 9 years ever since. I have appreciated that Dr. Ganger has been my advocate for wellness.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
