5.0 star star star star starEverything I heard about Dr. Wayne was very positive. He is no doubt the best in the business at treating Melanoma. I couldn’t have been in better hands. I’m very grateful to have his guidance.

5.0 star star star star starI will not score the doctor due to the unpleasant beginning of our meeting. He has impeccable scores from other patients so I would presume he is an excellent doctor. Update: your survey does not allow me to leave the score blank. I stand by my statements on this survey. I will score a 10 with the caveat that this is only because I must enter a number and I do believe he is a highly competent doctor due to the recommendation by Froedtert.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderExplained protocol well & gave me an opportunity to ask questions. Felt a little bit like he was in a hurry to get on to the next patient. He went over quite a bit of information very quickly.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Wayne is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. That's why I would recommend him to others. However, he often leaves me with the feeling that he is in a rush and trying to get through his schedule. I've had Dr. Wayne for 8 years and 2 surgeries. While he is always pleasant and answers my questions, it is not often that he makes me feel like I am a patient with real human concerns and anxiety. Dr. Wayne is very efficient with our use of time and he never leaves me to only the resident to see. But since I have been with Dr. Wayne for so long I have also gone through A LOT of residents. I am not dissatisfied about the quality of care or his ability to address/treat the physical/biological aspect of my cancer. I just get the sense that I am never the priority for the 8-10 minutes I get with him and that instead he he has 100 other things he needs to get done that day.

5.0 star star star star starHe seemed very experience and answered all of my questions in relevant detail. As an Engineer, I appreciated the detailed explanation of wound closure in preop procedures as well as post app suggestions.

5.0 star star star star starWhile Dr. Wayne is rushed in his approach and can make you feel as though you are one of many, many, many patients he is seeing that day, he is a skilled surgical oncologist and i trust his work.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
