5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Attarian's for almost 14 years. I have moved from Chicago to Madison, WI and Dr. Attarian is the only Chicago based doctor I continue to see. He is an extremely talented and knowledgable neurologist with a specialization in sleep medicine.

5.0 star star star star starDr Attarian was very straightforward and took my concerns seriously. I felt respected and heard. He was also optimistic that we would have some kind of answers and possibly a treatment plan in a relatively short span of time once we are able to get test results, which is a huge relief. It was clear that improving my quality of life was his top priority. Dr also did not make my gender into a big deal and seemed entirely unfazed about me being transgender, which is something I have anxiety about when having to talk to new medical professionals due to negative past experiences.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Attarian was available at a great time for me and answered all of my questions in an efficient manner. I found him to be respectful and kind. Furthermore, the treatment he recommended has helped me with my issue. Also, @admin, stop harassing your providers about metrics. Quality of care should be the priority, not likelihood of recommendation or numbers of appointments per day/week.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
