5.0 star star star star starHe is certainly very knowledgeable but he also takes the time to listen and to explain what he's thinking and why he's making certain recommendations. His technical competence is unquestioned and he just instills confidence.

5.0 star star star star stari was referred to Dr. Knight by Dr. [name] and able to get an appointment very quickly which I know isn't the norm but very appreciated. Dr Knight was pleasant and not in a hurry and his explanation of my condition was totally explained in a way that I finally could understand. he showed me my arrhythmias and made my issue more understandable than in the three years since it started. he wasn't quick to prescribe a drug to me without first ordering a stress test just to be sure my body could be ready for it. he also seemed caring and again not rushed...very important to a patient. being a teaching hospital it was interesting to see the interaction between the fellows that went over my chart and graphs before Dr. Knight came in. I also appreciated and was impressed that a device nurse was there for my entire visit to take part as well. it was nice to be the center of their attention in my medical and specifically my heart issue. I was impressed with Dr. Knight and will be having my records transferred to his practice from my present electrophysiologist who I do respect but value the expertise and comfort that Dr. Knight and Northwestern offer.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
