5.0 star star star star starSame as my answer above. Dr. Gradishar and Kelly [ ] have been geniuses at assessing and prescribing the perfect medicines to help my body thrive and keep the cancer under control. As I said most of my 50 years with cancer I had virtually no symptoms and was able to live a very normal life. I feel very blessed to have been in the care of Dr. Gradishar.

5.0 star star star star starHe's is very knowledgeable about cancer treatment. I like how it is such a team approach and everyone works very well with each other with a goal to provide the best possible plan of care. Dr. Gradishar has a very kind and caring demeanor that is very calming and reassuring. I am very grateful that I am receiving his expertise. I was referred to him by my first oncologist who described my cancer as a bit trickier, and thought he would have seen and treated a case like mine. I feel that driving 3 hours each way to receive my cancer treatment has been the right choice for me.

5.0 star star star star starI was seeking a second opinion. He had read my notes before visiting with me and was able to answer all the questions I had. He gave me his thoughts on my treatment. I will continue to follow up with second opinions while undergoing treatment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
