5.0 star star star star starAmazing results! I have not been able to raise up my heels, not even slightly, to reach for something in the kitchen cupboards for years. I always have a two step ladder. I can now lift up my left heel and no longer need the ladder. I am very grateful and looking forward to the next procedure on the right foot.

5.0 star star star star starI've known Dr. Patel for many years with expert care and today he said my ankle area was a little swollen but my [medication] pill I take for high blood pressure may need to be studied by my Primary Care Physician to increase the medication dose. He did say I could have my next appointment as far as 12 weeks away when it is normally 9 weeks

5.0 star star star star starI’ve only met him once, this was my first visit with him. He was straight forward and he will perform the procedure. I have another appointment for the procedure and I trust he has my best immediate and long term health benefit as the main focus.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
