He was friendly, professional, and reassuring. Best of all, he disproved the previous diagnosis I twice received from another ophthalmology specialist regarding the purported issue with my eye. I do NOT have a "macular hole", after all! I simply have a severe cataract which can easily be removed_restoring my vision!!!

Dr. Janetos is a phenomenal doctor. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. With the multitude of tests that he ordered I believe that if a diagnosis can be made as to why I have reoccurring eye issues he will be the one to find it. Before the 1st surgery I was very anxious but by the second eye I knew what to expect and the whole procedure was pretty seamless. That was due to the thoroughness of what was explained to me by everyone involved and the positive attitudes and great customer service along the way. That means a lot when you are essentially giving up control.

Dr. Janetos was easy to talk to; he was pleasant and answered all my questions. In the past few years, all my NW providers made me feel rushed I was on an assembly line, like they had only a few minutes to spend with a patient. I didn't feel it in this case. And I don't feel it with providers from other hospitals that I go to. Perhaps you surveyors can pass on the message to the powers that be that the doctors do not appreciate the time restrictions they have to work under or the overload of patients they are assigned. After 14 years, we have lost our PCP, and I know several who have quit working for NW_sad state of affairs from a renowned hospital.

He explains everything clearly and doesn't leave an appointment until all my questions are answered. He is extremely careful when it comes to medicine and had me do a slow taper of prednisone to treat inflammation - not wanting me to stay on it long term but carefully calculated the risks and benefits.
